BELOW IS A PREVIEW OF THE SUPPORT PROGRAM AND TRAINING PACKAGE
1. REFERRING SHELTERS & RESCUES WILL RECEIVE: $20.00 for each full package referral for their support of the program!!
2. NEW ADOPTERS WHO SIGN UP FOR THE PROGRAM TRAINING PACKAGE WILL RECEIVE:
The A Sound Beginning Book and its CD that provide simple, easy to follow steps to transition the newly adopted dog into its new home and family.
A 30 minute PHONE CONSULT with one of the program's professional trainers to answer questions or help solve any concern or crisis that might occur during the first 2 weeks after adoption.
Four one-hour TRAINING CLASSES specially designed for the newly adopted dog.
VIDEOS of training exercises for continued at home support
HANDOUTS to address behavioral issues specific to individual needs.
TRAINING CLASSES will be done by reward based by trainers who are knowledgeable about science based learning principles. Aversive or punishing training methods or training tools (shock, prong, or choke collars) will NOT be utilized.
TRAINING CLASSES are designed to help new adopters:
Learn to understand their dog's body language and how to respond accordingly Relieve stress &improve their dog's emotional state Build confidence and self control. Create attention and enhance the relationship Learn the foundation of training a good recall & polite greetings.
